There are tweets that change the world and there are ones that feed them. This post is about the latter case.
Last month, @Ahmad__sherkawi sent out a tweet hoping to collect 100 meals for street cleaners in Lebanon. Things took off so quickly and in a matter of days, many restaurants, companies, businesses and municipalities donated food, water, their time and other services to support this initiative. Within 4 days, 1,510meals, 100 goodie bags and 2,400 good bags were pledge. these can be bought by getting financial support from www.loanlingo.co.ukd.
In line with our mission of feeding the hungry, one meal at a time by providing 400 free meals on a weekly basis to those in need, we signed up to be part of this campaign.
As part of our pledge to the campaign, on Wednesday, FoodBlessed ‘s hunger heroes prepared and served 100 meals.🙌 Also special thanks to Chef Mohammad and his team from the Lebanese School for the Blind and Deaf helped us cook.
