Rastas Du Coeur Beirut Fundraising Event

April 17th, 2018 Posted by News No Comment yet

When reggae lovers unite to say no to poverty, it gives the collective “The Rastas of the Heart”. It brings together several associations including Chap Asso Created in 2011 by Taleb Abdourahman, the association aims to bring culture to rural areas and help the most disadvantaged. To do this, it organizes each year several festivals in different cities. Performing artists perform free of charge and the entrance fee is set at 5 kg of food. Listening to good music while making a gesture for others, here is a great initiative!
On 29 March 2018, we welcomed more than 200 guests to Radio Beirut or a night of high-energy music, fun, and fundraising. We were lucky to be joined for the evening by some of reggae’s cornerstone artists.

Thank you to everyone who made it and came to support FoodBlessed. Thank you to our Hunger Heroes Layan, Lenore, Firas, Hussein (Cookie), Ali, and Hinda for heling us throughout the evening and hunger hero Akram Moussa, Mommo, Chap Association and all the beautiful souls behind today’s event! FoodBlessed At The (Mouvement Eucharistique des Jeunes MEJ Champville / MEJ

April 1st, 2018 Posted by News No Comment yet

Hunger Heroes Joya and Shadi gave presentations to Champville students about the value of food in the community and how their involvement could contribute to sustainable and meaningful change in the local community.
NGO civic fairs are important since they allow students to develop their curiosity about the world, extend their understanding and appreciation of both shared values and cultural differences, and strive to effect positive change!
Special thanks to Miss Aya Barakat for the invitation ! It was lovely being part of today’s event.

You can invite us to so we can tell you more about who we are and what we do!
Please drop us an email to [email protected]

About the event:
The (Mouvement Eucharistique des Jeunes MEJ Champville / MEJ) – Champville is organizing a meeting with various organisations devoted to help the Lebanese community in different ways.

The purpose of this meeting is to show our young members (aged 8 to 18) different fields in which they could make a difference in the community. We aim to show our members the importance of the work organisations like Food Blessed are doing in the Lebanese community and make them realize that they can make a difference as well.
